FAQ

Decide the location

I charge a $25 travel fee for locations about 10 minutes outside of Baraboo. I do not require any electricity or water hookups. However, when considering where I will park, safety is my biggest concern, and we will discuss these logistics before the event.

Decide the date and time

If you know the exact time the people will come to the truck, I will arrive at our agreed time and stay until the last customer is served. If you feel confident that I will have mostly consistent business and people are coming as they please, I am willing to stay for a set amount of time.

Decide methods of payment

I accept cash, credit cards, or checks.

Decide who pays (here are a few options):

Customers can pay for themselves as they visit the truck during your reserved time with me. If someone is paying at the end, I will tally up the items that were chosen and provide you with a total for payment before I leave.

Occasionally, someone outside of your group may try to visit the truck if your location is in a high-traffic area. If this happens, I try not to turn away a customer, and I have them pay separately from your guests while prioritizing your group first.

If you don’t want people from your group revisiting the truck multiple times, I can print off tickets ahead of time that you will give to each person. I’ve been at events where they don’t mind if people come back for a little more, and they just pay, and at other events where they don’t want this to occur. It is really up to you, and we can determine this ahead of time.

Menu

I prefer to make all my regular menu options available, but if you have a request for certain items to be omitted, I can do that for you. We will discuss this prior to the event. My items are all pre-packaged and range from $2 to $5. I have nutrition and allergen information in the truck and make sure to always have a variety of items that are free of sugar, nuts, gluten, soy, and artificial dyes.

If your event is a fundraiser

I am willing to contribute a small portion of my profits to your cause. However, please remember that I am a very small business owner who operates this on my own. At the end of each season, I can’t afford to donate too much, or my business would not be viable to run.
